We have had to make a number of changes and we appreciate your patience & understanding. Our priority is to keep our customers & staff safe.

Important - if you feel unwell, please do not come in.
What we have done:
  • We have installed perspex screens for the safety of our staff & customers
  • We have removed some furniture to comply with social distancing guidance
  • We have implemented a one-way entry & exit system at the front doors
  • We have implemented a one-at-a-time policy for the toilet areas
  • We have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment & trained our staff
What you need to do:
  • Make use of the hand sanitiser dispensers: on entry to the pub, before & after visiting the toilet and before visiting the bar
  • Avoid touching surfaces if it is not necessary to do so
  • Please use contactless payments wherever possible
  • Observe the one-way entry/exit system into and out of the building
  • Stay at your table/ in your group & remain seated whilst inside
  • Maintain the government-recommended social distancing between yourself and others outside your household
Social distancing guidance from Public Health England
How to see people that you do not live with while protecting yourself & others from coronavirus:

please refer to the government's website for up to date information: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-meeting-with-others-safely-social-distancing/coronavirus-covid-19-meeting-with-others-safely-social-distancing?priority-taxon=774cee22-d896-44c1-a611-e3109cce8eae
N.B. A support bubble counts as one household and consists of a single adult household which has joined with one other household - this should be exclusive and should not change.

You must still socially distance from anyone not in your household. This means you should be 2 metres (6.5 feet) apart  OR  at least 1 metre apart plus ‘mitigation’
(Examples of mitigation = being outside or sitting back-to-back or side-to-side, not facing each other).

Parents - you are responsible for your children when visiting our pub. Please ensure they also comply with the social distancing guidelines.

When you are called forward, we will record your name & contact number at the bar, to assist NHS Test & Trace. Today’s list will be retained for 21 days.

We would like to thank our loyal customers for their ongoing support through these unprecedented times. We have deferred our annual April price increase until January 2021. We ask for your continued patience and understanding as we resume trading in a very different way during these unprecedented times. Thank you
